What a weekend...

I need more energy.  I bet if I went to the gym, I'd have a lot of energy... at least that's what I hear.  All I know is, I can barely keep up with Hieu and Rodolfo's energy levels..

Watching everyone at the track at SOW has me itchy.  Gotta get on my bike today.  Definitely.  I have to log PTO in 4 hr increments at work - maybe just leave here after 4 hrs (since I got in late anyway), and go home, pick up the bike, go to BuyMoto or something.  I need seat time, bad.

Woke up waaaay late today - got in to work at almost 11am.  Not sure why - went to bed at midnight!

Anyway. Awesome weekend up in Rowland Heights with Hieu and Rodolfo.  Good memories...

There are some emails I get that I know I shouldn't open cuz they'll make me mad... but I do anyway.  Why do we do things like that to ourselves?  Or maybe it's just me.

Another insane weekend...

First off... Happy Birthday, Tony!!

Actually, the weekend was pretty relaxing.  Just busy...

Friday - Went with Hieu to Ole Madrid for one of Ed's birthday party.  Thanks, Jon, for inviting us out!  My first "club" scene.... though you know me - I don't dance .  Poor Hieu got stuck hanging out with me upstairs in the VIP section.  At least he got to dance a little... ?    We all just kinda hid upstairs and people-watched... quite fun (for me anyway..).  Got a little silly - good memories.  I want pictures!  I probably should learn how to actually dance one of these days though - something a little more than the ballroom dancing I know

Saturday - Jennifer invited me to Chucky's house party (another first!) down by SDSU.  Hieu and Rodolfo joined me this night - I hope they had fun!  I had not too much to drink.. until that shot of rum.  Man, was I tipsy after that!  Very likely could've gotten me to dance if the music had been a bit... softer..    Too tipsy to drive still when we left, so Rodolfo drove us home, then I hung out at Hieu's until the alcohol wore off.. around 3am.  He treated me to anime and mint ice cream.. yum..

Sunday - Billiards at Society.  What more needs to be said.   I need to buy my own pool cue...

Lots of firsts this weekend... and hopefully more to come.  I need to get out and experience more of life.

In more somber news - there were two motorcycle-related deaths this weekend.  One was someone unknown to me, and those I know, as far as I know.  Happened on Palomar mountain.  The second was a friend of my co-worker, Britt.  She was there when the accident occurred at Big Willow of WSIR.  They were racing.. things just went wrong.

R.I.P.

Been going out a lot lately -

Friday night: Daddio's in PB for Jen and Becky's birthday parties.  I'll find some good pictures and post them in my xanga pics a little later this week...

Saturday: Stayed home and recovered from Friday... man, all I had was ONE mango margarita, and I had a headache most of the day.  I need to drink more water...  Went to D&B that night with Joyce and Will.  Played ticket games, motorcycle games... good times.  That Harley-Davidson game is surprisingly harder than the sportbike one!

Sunday:  Feeling recovered, and wanted to go out, but most people were busy.  Luckily, Hieu was able to join me at Society for a few hours of pool, a really REALLY strong Absolut Electric Lemonade, and some good chat.  Got home around 130, crashed..

I'm surprisingly refreshed this Monday... maybe I need more weekends that tire me out like this.  Work hard, party hard, neh?
